01:32 am - Some new stuff

I love the new show "Wanted" on TNT. I'm sorry tv critics but I absolutely luv Ryan Hurst. Ever since he was in "Remember the Titans". He makes the show for me. Anyway here are some new creations. I think Angelina Jolie is one of the most beautiful women out there (2nd only to Liv Tyler) in my opinion. Here's my first Angie banner

Those photos are from an Annie Leibovitz shoot. The next one I call my Men In Kilts..

Last but not least...3 Hot Scots.

So I've not had much going on lately. I did a few more graphics which are so-so. I feel that it's getting limited. I tried to download the trial of Photoshop but the bloody thing won't install! I checked the instructions and it says that sometimes anti-virus software will prohibit installation. I don't have anti-virus running and I can't afford $150 for the whole program right now. I might search around to see if some of the computer stores have older versions for less. Anyway, here they are. One is a graphic that I created for a fan art challenge....

That's all fer now.

05:56 pm - Learning

Here's a few things I've learned the past few days.

1. Craig Ferguson's nephew is hot

2. It's easier to complete a large task if you divide it into smaller tasks (painting my room for example..ahem...)

3.It's bloody hot in CT this summer. I can't wait for fall!

All right, that's it fer now. Here's the 2 newest editions to my banner collection

That's Hayden for all of those who've been under a rock for the past few months...

I'm not sure I'm happy with this following Craig banner...

02:32 am - New Hayden Banner

I may have time to do one more tonight. I think it's gonna be a Ewan one. I'm watching the American Masters: Bob Newhart on PBS. He is one of the greatest comedians ever! "I wanna order some moo goo goo goo"

01:05 am - Wednesday, Wednesday...la la la la la la

I often wonder why I spend hours a day on my days off and then when I get home from work trying to figure out these graphics programmes. Could it be the satisfaction when I get something that I like? Quite possibly.

I'm refraining from picking up Harry Potter again. I need a break between the 1st and 2nd readings. Plus I'm waiting for my friend to finish it.

So here's the first of tonight's graphics offerings. Hayden Rulz!

I call this "Hot & Sexy" Hayden. That picture in the Vader shirt. Thank goodness I have a fan near by.

Oh, Craig Ferguson is on tv. I need to concentrate on that for a bit. Cheers!

03:03 am - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Great, I had a whole lovely post to my journal and now it's gone. So here goes...

I finished HP 6 yesterday morning at 2:45a EDT. I was absolutely furious with what happened. I thought possibly there was something wrong with me beause I had heard it was a tearjerker but I didn't cry. I was pissed off at what Snape had done.

I started thinking about it though. After all the character buildup would it all be thrown away in this book? I love Snape I wasn't ready to believe that he was PositivelyEvil!Snape. No, no, no! So is he working for the dear departed Dumbledore. I still think he is.

I went to sleep with my mind racing with thoughts about what didn't seem right. I finally drew the conclusion about what was bothering me. In Order of the Phoenix Snape was assigned to teach Harry Occulomency. Why? Because he was the best at it. It occured to me, which I later verified that during the first lessons Snape says to Harry "The Dark Lord almost always knows whens someone is lying to him" (US Hardcover, approx pg 631). Almost always? Almost doesn't cut it. Why would Snape say that? Because he's done it. He's managed to block Voldemort from entering his mind. That's the main issue that was bugging the crap outta me.

In HBP, Chapter 2 "Spinner's End" Snape says that Voldemort is the most powerful Legilimens. Snape is the most powerful Occulomens. That's why DD asked Snape to teach Harry. That's how he was able to answer all of Voldy's questions and not be suspected.

Now about Snape killing Dumbledore. I think he made an Unbreakable Vow to Dumbledore that if it ever came down to it, Snape would have to kill DD. He didn't kill him because he wanted to but because it was what he was obligated to do.

I've never been good at this speculation stuff but I'm not going to give up on Snape and I think somewhere there's enough hints to conclude that Good!Snape exists.

[info]cordelia_v has many good points in her lj entries. She has fleshed out what I could possibly not have said because I stumble over words when I want to say something meaningful. I'm definitely a subscriber to the non-Harry POV. While I like Harry, I really do he gets it wrong over and over. He lets his passions take over before he thinks. Gee, that sounds a lot like

Okay, that's all I have to say about that. I'll continue to peruse the Potter opinions because they're all so interesting but this is the one I truly believe in (Good!Snape).

Lastly, this friday get your bums out to see The Island starring Ewan McGregor. That movie is awesome!
